Can connect to minecraft but cant connect to any servers

Hey guys, recently, and out of the blue, i woke up one morning and i couldnt access any minecraft servers, i know its not a problem with servers being up, and i connected to minecraft properly. I am running minecraft on windows xp sp3 if that helps at all. I tried turning off the firewall and all antivirus to make sure that it wasnt blocking minecraft, i even redownloaded the game, but i still cant connect to any servers. The internet on my computer is working fine for everything else, i can connect to a browser and even play other games like league of legends. When i typed netstat in the command prompt the server i was trying to connect to came up as SYN_SENT as the status of the connection to that server.

Its been three days since ive been able to connect to minecraft, i was hoping someone here could help me out, plz...

Are you playing with an outdated minecraft version maybe?

If you can't play "LoL" then it probably isn't a minecraft error. It is probably an error with your connection, but I'm no good with technical stuff. May I ask is your connection slow like if you are watching youtube videos or anything?

No, i have tried many versions of minecraft on the different servers, including mcsg (which accepts everything from 7.2-7.90

Still cant connect D:
