In MCSG I have noticed that on the right there is a box with all of the information that is occurring in the game, like how many players are watching and spectating, etc. The time in that box though, is regional to Canada or the USA, I'm not sure. But I think it would be more useful to have the time that you are regional to, like GMT / GMT + 1 so it would be a lot easier to see the time if you are in a game. This stands for all regions, so I think it would be better to have the time as the time that the server host is regional to, such as US, EU, AU, and CA, and have the time on the side as what time you are regional to? This probably doesn't make sense, but someone will understand c:

Yeah, you should be able to set your time zone with a command, so that the scoreboard on the right says your correct time. However, this would be a hassle to code (speaking from experience) so I don't know if this would be added, but this is a cool idea!

Why don't we just remove the time... -.-

Because it's used to make searching for chat logs much easier.

MCgamer aren't stupid, they know you can check the time on your computer.

The main reason for this is because of the way the Developers crush game bugs. In order to deduce how exactly to deal with issues, we need to know tons of information such as where the error took place, the situations that preceded the issue, and very importantly, the time at which it occurred. All of the information is tracked through Central Standard Time, and it makes it easy for our developers to check the status of the specific server at that moment in time. It mainly serves as a tool to help the developers make the network run as efficiently as possible.

Likewise, when it comes to tangental cases relating to user punishment, it can be very convenient for tracking server logs and no-cheat triggers. Since all logs are tracked through CST, it saves the issue of converting.
