Avatar troubles :c

The title explains a great deal. I am trying to set an avatar but every time it comes up as my skin face. It wont change to whatever picture I set it as, at least on my screen. Any ideas, or is there something I'm missing?

Well currently avatars are a bit bugged, to my knowledge anyways. You can't set an avatar if it is a file which exists on your pc.
Try using the gravatar option, provided you have a Gravatar account and if you don't it's easy to sign up.

You should indeed use Gravatar right now, this is the most efficient way to change your avatar at the moment, though we are working on fixing the avatar issues. I will link an easy guide to gravatar below in case you have trouble with it.
