4 Man Death-match Instead of 3 Man Death-match

Now, I know what you are thinking: But we've had 3 man death-matches for SOOOO LOONNNGGGG. It'd be like killing the originality of MCSG!

However, there are many benefits to a four man death-match that a three man death-match does not offer, such as:

• Faster games
• There is a chance it will be 2 v 2 instead of 2 v 1
• Overall more of a fair death-match.

I hope you will consider this, because I really think it will benefit MCSG. I have set up a poll so we can tell a bit easier what side is winning, but don't feel obligated to vote if you don't want to.

It used to be a 2 man deathmatch at the start (based on Survival Games Classic).

I like the ideia of this, but the developers would have to rewrite the whole plugin to make a tiny change such as deathmatch.

I'd rather have a 2v1 than a 3v1 to be honest. Though it is annoying how on larger servers you still can only have 3 person dms (unless it times out. I've had so many games on 48 person servers where there are like 4 or 5 people left and then it times out the 20 minutes to dm.) I made a thread a while ago suggesting larger dms for 48 and 120 person servers which got a lot of positive response, but it's not been looked at by devs or planned to implement (as far as I know). Holograms are cool and all, but this would make playing larger matches significantly more fun.

Still, you will often be random-teamed in DM, so why wouldn't players who think they can't win make a team of 3 and make it even harder for you to win?

I agree with you, but at the same time, there is a big decrease in teams of two to teams of three.

Personally.. I'd rather it stay at 3. I'll take a 2v1 over a 3v1 any day. Even though it allows 2v2's also, I still see it as an even bigger advantage for teams.

Though if there is a team of 2 in dm, you have a chance to survive by teaming with the random. But there always could be the chance of a 3v1. So I'll say no to this.
