Hi guys! I'm Lulake and today I have a big question for you... Can I play Minecraft (I'm very good at computers and etc but I don't want to risk it, well i can run it but I want good fps) if I can play MC AND MCSG on my laptop until the finals (exam) cus my pc broke and after I'm getting a gaming pc... What settings I should use??
Specs:
Core 2 duo 2.0 ghz
intel 965m family chipset (best graphics ever :)) if u know wut I mean)
1 gb ram
Windows vista bussiness sp1

As mentioned by Lively we will need the full computer specs to make a judgement but from what I can see, it could run Minecraft with approximately 15-20 fps if you are running at tiny render distance.

Nevertheless, please provide full specs for us to base a judgement on.

As far as I know, you need to have at least 2GB ram to play Minecraft

Hmm. I think it's best to leave at least 1 gig of RAM not dedicated (to minecraft) in order to run background things and your general OS. Meaning I think you may need more than one, but it may be possible. Only this would mean a substantial decrease in FPS. If it is possible to play with one gig, of course.

Don't quote me on it as I'm not the best with this stuff.

Sorry man, but that setup won't work well with minecraft. Try to get your computer fixed asap. Good luck, and be sure to get Optifine.
