About the 1.8 username changing.

Im gonna make this quick and clear.
Alot of you probbably know that in 1.8 we will able to change our name, but I got one question.
How will we transfer our stats, donors and others, to our account with a new name?

This is more of a dev question, but post what you think (or know).

Yes, the stats are saved to a number, your IGN has nothing to do with the name.

Yes, the stats are saved to a number, your IGN has nothing to do with the name.

This, you are basically a number with a mask ( username ) you can change the mask, but the number stats the same. Our systems are prepared for this, so there is nothing to worry.

Lol yes they have, the specs are fully released and implemented into 1.7.2 (i think that's when it was implemented? oh well, it definitely is in 1.7.5). The UUID system is already implemented into our system. There will be no issues with changing your name
