New voting system.

So, as of right now "No, we don't like it" is above "Yes, we do like it" by 1,008. Its been this way for avbout the whole race, can we try and remove this voting system?

Because i was in a few games, and SG4 and Valleyside and Lobby games each had around 25-27 votes (seperate games) and then there is one kid that likes this one map, so that map wins, with 1 vote. Id like to change the system back, but making chances such as "The map cannot win chance voting without having 10+ votes. If no maps have 10+ votes then chance voting will resume"

That sounds fair, right?

There have been many threads already about this same topic, this was originally a community suggestion and as the community supported it then, I don't see it going anywhere soon. Learn to like other maps, everyone works hard on their maps and they deserve to be played. SG4, Holiday, and Valleyside are clearly overplayed and I think it's good that all maps have a chance of being played now. Adds more variety.

Do you think this is what the community had in mind? Maps with 27 votes losing to maps with 1-3? I dont think we should remove this completely, i just think we should edit it a bit. Make it more senseball imo.

The developers spent time and hard work on this system. My guess is that it will stay.

It is being tweaked soon as there was a bug making maps with lower vote amounts be voted more often then they should have.

As Ben stated this has been a very popular discussion, and many threads have been made. Until the developers have made a final decision whether it stays or not,you will just have to learn to live with it. Its not the end of the world if a map gets chosen with less votes you will just have to learn to love it.

I can say that there will be an update pertaining to the system soon. How soon, I'm not entirely sure but there is one coming nonetheless.
Anyways, you were suggesting a change to a feature, so moved to Feature Suggestions.

Moving to Feature Suggestions since the thread would fit better in there. I personally do think that the new voting system is a lot of fun, you never know what map it is going to be. But I can understand your anger towards it, since it can be very annoying at times. I like your suggestion though, if a map has 10 or more votes it would make sense that that map would be automatically played.
