Spectating

Although spectating is cool, whenever I try to COMPETE in a hunger games match, I keep ending up as a SPECTATOR. I have done all the commands I could find and none of them work! This is VERY frustrating for me because I just bought the game, mostly because I wanted to do the Hunger Games online instead of solo on the X-Box but nooo, I keep being a spectator! How do I stop this non-sense?? Please help!! (this is my first time posting so sorry if I violated any rules D;

Are you joining games that are in lobby or games that are in-action?

When in the hub, find a sign that says "lobby" this means that the game has not started yet, and it will let you play.

Also, since you're new to Minecraft on pc you'll need some pvp help I assume. Try looking a videos to help ya self out.

Yes, I do need some help. Although, not in Single Player since I've been playing on Xbox, but I stopped because my bro broke my usb drive . Do you have an suggestions on videos?
