I think you should remove all the big buildings around the lobby...
My computer isnt the best but it can run minecraft but everytime i get in the lobby and doesnt have on short distance my minecraft gets "minecraft has run out of memory" and my spot gets taken.

I can play any of the maps without lag.

I dont really see a point of them being there anyway...

look up out of memory fix on youtube for 1.3.2 or 1.2.5 they both work the same and install optifine

The lobby was build to resemble the training arena in the Capitol (Hunger Games). Thats why it looks that way. Originally you couldn't get up on the ledge to the left, as It was the game maker's watching platform like from the movie. The buildings represent the vast city of the capital
