Windows 7 vs Windows 8

I have a Win8 but very much prefer 7.

Windows 8, but it's just because I am familiar with it.

Windows 8 is very tablet and touchscreen-friendly. If you're not experienced with Win 8, I recommend using Win 7. If you are, I still recommend ditching it, and get Win 10 instead (all the good features of Win 8 (metro UI, apps, etc.) but start menu, little improvements, and non-fullscreen metro apps). If you really need Win 8, just go for 8.1.

Wasn't Windows 8 originally intended for ONLY tablets? And then everyone wanted it for PC so bad and Microsoft decided "Sure! If you guys want it so much then why not?" And then everyone goes nuts about how bad Windows 8 is for PC? I could be wrong but, if that's true... then bravo, everyone. *slow clap*

Exactly that. Then, to 'satisfy' their customers, they release 8.1, which honestly didn't really make it any more desktop friendly.

Definitely Windows 7, it is so easy to run and figure out everything- Windows 8 is just bleh.

You should go for Windows 7.
