As for me, I win about 89% of my games, and I would have a better W/L Ratio, but I team with people who are better than me, so I lost a lot.

Most teams are taking a risk IMO as they have to share out loot so will have less stuff and they make their presense more known. Sure they have more hearts and can dish out pain more easily if they work together effectively. Solo is more likely to take down a team early game as the team won't normally be decked by this point however end game teams can be lethal.

Also to add on to this, when a team is fighting someone, they might hit their teammate causing more damage and less hearts to the team.
