Why do you have to be 15 to apply for Moderator?

it's not easy, many people are good at lying. Plus they check if their application is good. In order to apply, you need the requirements. One of those requirements is to be 15+. Soooo yeah.....

Well, i was thinking that the interview would probably be pretty long and intensive. Asking indepth questions and stuff like that.

Yeah, there are like thousands of applications in MCSG for moderator. It would waste so much time for the mods. Some of the people won't be even worth being interviewed, because it would just end up bad like in the app.

I am 14, with a flawless app. I had previous moderator experiences to. You just have to wait with patience till your 15. Patience, grammar, maturity is what their looking for.

I think members that wish to apply for mod that are 14 years old should have to be very active and mature. I also think that anyone applying that is under the age of 14 should go through a interview asking them a lot of questions to see if they would be mature enough for the job.

Here's the thing. You can get an exception for your age so that you can apply. I know that, because I got one myself. You will be interviewed and they will determine if you are mature enough to be able to bypass the requirement. The only stipulation is you can only be 2 years younger than the age requirement which, at the moment, is 15. Therefore, you have to be at least 13 to get an exception.

I am only 13 years old and really want to apply to be a moderator because I think I could really help as a moderator but, as you can see, I'm not 15. Some of the moderators I've seen on MCSG aren't very good at their job in my opinion and I would love to help so much more than them! I just want to know why exactly you must be 15.

I applied for an age exception not long ago. My app was great and I got through on that round, but when it came to activity on the forums and server, I did not get through. Make sure you have a great app, are mature, have good grammar, and are active. Then you have a good chance.

There are rare age acceptions for 13 year olds to be mods but the main reason why I think you have to be 15 years or older is maturity and experience. I'm in no way saying that 13 year olds could not be good mods there have been great younger mods who have helped these servers but older people tend to live through more experiences and gain the maturity needed for a responsibility of taking a moderator job on these servers.

A. If your talking about yourself, gg I havent seen a 13 year old mod in a long time.
B. I wasnt mod and am not 13

people can't hire minors (which is 16 and under) the person giving you the job can get sued.
