xD

- It wasn't really "Jesus Christ" that was born on Christmas, that is December 25th, but rather it's a day about some sort of pagan sun god or something. I don't remember, I never paid attention when my mom was droning on about it and showing us "Informational Videos".
- The Pope, Catholic church, Jesuits (Supposed militant arm of Catholic church), etc. manufactured it to be misleading.

A ton others, but I don't want to ask my mom (She'll wonder why I'm so interested, don't want her to start showing me videos again ;_;) and I forgot them.

Also there's tons of other conspiracy theories that she's "learned about"...

(Remember, I'm not saying that these are true or untrue, I'm simply stating some stuff to answer RC. If you're Catholic etc., please don't take offense and h8 the Moo 4evar.)
What's interesting is that December 25 isn't even necessarily supposed to be Jesus' exact birthday; it's just a day celebrating it. It's like Easter; Easter comes a different day each year, so it's not actually when he was supposed to be resurrected, just a celebration of the day. There actually are a lot of pagan roots and traditions in Christmas because early Christians wanted Pagans to be able to relate Christianity to their religion and be more willing to convert.

I guess that's some good theology exam practice for me XD
