What is the most terrifying fictional character/being from a game?

my personal pick would be pyramid head (silent hill).

pyramid head is never really explained throughout the series, he's just kind of this demented thing that is pretty much the game's #1 protagonist.

while that's the scariest creature, i think the scariest game i've played is dead space.
