Pi is actually my my 3th favorite number after Avogadro's Number (6.02x10^23) and the number e (whose exponential function is the derivative of itself). Pi is normally shortened to 2 decimal places and is expressed as 3.14, though in reality it goes on into infinity (with no notable pattern). Pi is a constant that is the ratio that relates a circles circumference with its diameter. The equation that does that is Pi=C/d. No matter what the diameter is, be it a nano-meter or a kilometer, when put in the ratio with its circumference it will always give you pi! Pi has been around since the time of the ancient Greeks, Egyptians, and Babylonians, and while their estimated value was off from the actual value, they were within 1% error of the value! It is used in every day life and is one of the most important constants that we posses, and without it, society as we know it would not exist... seriously, we would be f!@#$%!

If you want torture, you should see the Unit Circle, or commonly referred to as the Mathematical Pentagram. I shutter just thinking about it... FEAR IT!!!

pi is 3.14159 etc. but it is a circle used to make somethin called a stomach become full by dividing into different sectors to make it look like a circle with many radii once there you thoroughly stab and slice of a chunk of the sector and place into your mouth, once that has happened your saliva in coordination with your teeth crunch slice and dissolve into even SMALLER chunks! You then begin to move your throat muscles to "swallow" these chunks that fall into your stomach making it full. *whew* that was a mouthful!
