What are some good texture packs?

I'm getting pretty bored of the default texture pack, and I want to get a new one. Anyone have any suggestions? Also a simple tutorial on how to download texture packs, because I suck at it lol
Not painterly pack though, I know about that one and it takes way to long to customize.

Try faithfulx32,
or dokucraft - the sage continues,
or JohnSmith's texture pack,
or Eld's pack.

Or go to planetminecraft.net go to texture pack and then look for the most downloaded pack.
For install a texture pack, just open miencraft, go to texture pack and click on "open texture pack folder", then put the .zip files in it.
