I think DM should only be available once their are 2 tributes left, instead of the 5
to prevent a constant "cat and mouse" affect

Agreed , But what if it was such a feature such as "If 5 people Left then Spectators can Vote to Lower the Countdown timer to 15 minutes shorter" or something or the sort ?

That would cause some lag. with all the moving blocks (way more then you think)

Maybe every time someone is killed the timeleft clock decreases a little bit to make things a little faster.

I had a similar idea to moving the dome. But instead have two deathmatch modes the first at 6 people which brings them towards the center and makes it so they can't go further than an outer ring. Which would be further away than the final deathmatch at 2 people or timer out which is at the spawn ring.

I think this is a great idea too, take off 2 - 5 minutes per kill. or something : )
