Many VIP's are builders, that's fine because they helped MCSG out by making a great map for them, making them 'very important persons' Just like youtubers being very important by promoting MCSG. But there are too many people who have VIP just because they placed a block or 2 on a map. This cannot be checked by MCSG I'm sure, so it's just something you have to live with.

Some of it is probably true. A map team could lie and say that "everyone on the team contributed the same amount which is blah blah blah" or "so and so made that WHOLE blah blah blah". so yes, there are map builders that contribute a whole bunch but some may do next to nothing and credit of being vip.

Thats not really true...

I'm sure that there are some maps where there is only one builder who contributed a lot to the map. If all he has to do is just say his friends contributed enough to the map for them to get VIP as well, I'm pretty sure he'd do it.

V.I.P was meant to be hard or near impossible to obtain.

Now you can get it by building a map, and good maps aren't being accepted. Narwhal Paradise anyone? xD
