A gigantic update coming through after today's meeting.
First, we have the new referees. I'd like to congratulate
Sevector Bogen and
Justin / Bullet and
Dami for earning their referees, and we will still be looking at applications for referee, so don't lose hope if you didn't get accepted this time!
Second, we have the new clan battle maps. This is a very new thing for all of us, but the USCLB staff has decided a list, so here it is. All current maps are kept in the list of clan battle maps, along with the new maps of Turbulence and Alaskan Village (Which can be played on for USCLB battles starting tomorrow (aka they are live)). We also encourage all clans to practice scrimming on the map Par 72, in order to test how it functions with clans. We would like opinions by the leaders of USCLB clans to put their opinion of the map in the USCLB Leaders Skype Chat (if you aren't in please pm this account). Also with these new maps we are introducing a new 1 map veto option. Before clan battles start, whether there is a referee or not, each leader vetoes one map from the Clan Battle pool. This rule will be added to the list of rules (on the front page).
Third, the new clans we are adding. Added to the leaderboards are the clans Valiance, Oblivion, Sparta, Serenity, and Eclipse. Each one of these clans starts out with 1400 elo in the 2nd division. Then, the clans that get moved up to the first division (with 1434 elo like the other clans that are already in the 2nd division) are Curse and Xenos and Valance. These clans can still be challenged for their spot in Division 1 by the other clans in Division 2 with 1434 elo. We aren't putting clans in division 3 unfortunately, until the elo rankings sort themselves out throughout divisions 1 an 2. Vividus also changed their name to Invictus, and join the leaderboards at division 2 with 1434 elo.
Thank you for reading. -Exodus.
