What about Canadian servers?

When connecting with 1.7.2 I get: an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
When connection with 1.6.4 I get: INTERNAL EXCEPTION: JAVA.NET.SOCKETTIMEOUTEXCEPTION: READ TIMED OUT

I have tried a lot, and made threads, but no-one seems to be able to help me.
by trying a lot I mean: Restarting router, install 64 bit java, reinstall minecraft, delete .minecraft .

I've been trying to use this feature since it came out, but kept getting "The specified server does not exist" or something. Idk.

Now I realize I was doing ./server 100, not ./server sg100. etc.

FAIL.
