Unable to Play

Everytime i join a minecraft survival games server and im in the lobby, whenever it says 3:00 minutes left, i have horrible lag for a minute or 2 and then it shows me "Minecraft is out of memory" and it keeps happening, i can never play. any help?

Sounds like you need 64bit java installed. Make sure you have installed the latest version of 64bit java, and then if your getting lag, try this out.
