Me and some friends NickvdPas073 & Randy_Nub tested out this map to find there actually is a way out of the map.
If you go east of spawn and go under the water there is no glass so you can just hop right out.

Welcome to Turbulence.

3/16/14 - Modified chest placement, fixed some redstone, added a few easter eggs, and added details
3/19/14 - Removed a lot of chests (reduced total amount to ~200), added tier 2s (ender chests), and resubmitted using the new Official Map Guidelines

I like it!, the terraforming does lack at one or two some areas (I really like the terraforming overall though), it's a great map!
I think I'd enjoy playing this map.
