Ok thank you Kytria,Since I had been restarting the map , I guess i could use some mycelium mixed in with the grass to show that it is abandoned and I am going to add more structures

Needs block variation. This means that you shouldn't just put grass and dirt as the surface, you should mix it up with various types of blocks, but looks decent so far!
