After successfully reproducing the bug twice by accident and then not being able to reproduce it we have no good information on how to fix it. We will keep trying but it is almost impossible to reproduce with steps.

It happens with the Bow too, but it's not just MCSG

The Nexus has this problem with bows too (as someone already pointed out).

The bug could be caused by the JVM misreading the data value of the item in hand? Either that or something's f[ax]ed up with the actual animations of bow and rod firing and casting respectively.. If this is happening on multiple servers, I think we can rule out a clientside connection error.

This was supposedly fixed by a update to Spigot. Locking.
