I agree, there should be a method to allow the community vote on which maps are allowed. The maps are made for the community, by the community; why not let the community be the judges?

Because a huge part of the community judge maps based on unreasonable reasons, such as huge amount of chests/chests routes that fits them, shaders, size/time (smaller the ''better''), and so on.

It was judged on a scale of how it looked, which is quite unreasonable, but there is nothin that can be change about it, the rankings fr the competition probably won't change and it is unreasonable that a map that idn't correclyy follow the guidelines won though, about what10-12 corn chests? I mean really?

But it don't look good (my opinion). I thought it was going to be incredible, but when I first played it I was soooo disappointed. It have random stuff all over the ground. Theres suddenly lava pits in the middle of the road and it is so messy. It have also random holes that you can fall into. The map competition was a BIG disappointment

I think this would be nice, i just came back from a long break and some of the maps seems a bit rushed, some have cool concepts, but doesn't play well. Look at the Moonbase map, i really have no idea how it got accepted really. If you compare it with the Vareide maps and the Teweran maps it actaully fails. I get that we can't have only Vareide or Teweran. An idea could be to have a few servers dedicated to new maps to test them out and get feedback. See if people like them, give suggestions on what could be improved. This would only work however if people actually put in some dedication to test them.
