I never understood why the Clone Commander looked like a snow trooper.

The Commander armor is that of a Galactic Marine, the force that fought the battle of Mygerto. Their leader is Comnander Bacara, who's armor is used as the heavy trooper. I wish they used different clone skins for different battles, like having every class in Kashyyyk the camp troopers and making Gree the commander.
