Why you want to help with the building: Sounds fun, and I love redstone
Additional info: I have some questions about it. Do you have to mine resources, or is it in creative mode? Are command blocks allowed? And do the players have to randomly find the others traps?

To answer your questions, its survival (I'll add that to the OP), and command blocks are enabled, there will be challenges in which we may get assistance for your next trap, and players may request command blocks, builders will type in the command, while the competitor says thee command to type down. And yes, they must find the traps, to make them fall for traps we tell them there are some traps, some rewarding chests.
