I honestly do not know if this is a permanent thing or something that they are still testing or even a bug like the hunger glitch that will be patched later. I do believe this is a result of the upgrade to the updated version of NCP or something that comes with the 1.7.5 update.

Nothing is currently noticeable on AU.. But I'm not understanding what effects what and how..

I am the same as you I have not actually played since this update thing, could some one actually explain in detail what difference it makes to pvp. This would be much apriciatef thanks.

Basically, everytime you switch slot you can't hit someone for 1/2 seconds. Say I fishing rod'd someone, then switched to my sword, they would get the first hit everytime. Same with FnS pretty much. Switch to FnS, light it somewhere, then quickly switch to your sword, and you can't hit anyone.
