A-var-ish-a, or A-var-ee-see-ya, like most. It just depends what my mood is. c:

Technically, Avaricia is a Spanish word, and Spanish words with 'ci' inside are pronounced with 'zi' (zee).
So, I pronounce 'Avaricia' as 'A-vaa-ree-zee-a', or, in Italian 'avarizia' :p, listen to that on GTranslator ;B

It's not a hard z, sounds more like "si."

For fun, I usually say Ah-Free-Kah (Africa)

But in my honest opinion, it would probably be A-Va-Ree-Cee-Uh (Avaricia)

ah-va-RISS-ia
Or
ah-va-RISS-ya
same thing, different ways of spelling. The capitalization is to emphasize... the emphasis.

That's not true D:

In castellano (spanish spoken in spain) 'c' followed by 'e' or 'i' is pronounced 'th', and 'v' is pronounced 'b'. So it's pronounced 'ah-bah-ree-thee-ah', like Fox said. That said, you might come across a bit pretentious saying it like that, so I think it's acceptable just to say 'ah-vah-ree-see-yah' in normal conversation.
