I am actually crying. You have no idea.
Two nominations! That is crazy!
As some of you may know already, I resigned back in September as I was told that nursing school was going to take up most of my time, but that was not the case. Within the last month, I have been under so much emotional stress. This led me to make the decision to come back to MCGamer as it has been one of the most supportive atmospheres I have ever encountered in my life.
To come home from a long day, with high level emotions, and notice these nominations, brought me endless tears of joy. I have never received appreciation like this in my life. Anything that I do have, whether it be my self-confidence, self-esteem, self-appreciation, self-devotion, or anything else of the sort, has all been something I have had to create for myself, with blood, sweat, and tears. As simple as this event is, this is the first time anyone has gone out of their way for me. To show that they appreciate me and the work I have done. It makes me so sad, yet so happy and strong at the same time. You have all played a pivotal role in my life that has brought me towards success and happiness, and I will be forever grateful and thankful of that.
Thank you's, welcome's, and other general forms of appreciation seem to be disappearing, almost like as if they are a rarity nowadays. Just know that simple terms such as those go a long way in life. If you do someone a favour and say thank you, they are more likely to do you a favour in return. Just remember to be nice, show support, and care for those who play some sort of role in your life. Whether it is your parents, the cashier at your local grocery store that always smiles at you, the order-taker at your favourite restaurant that always remembers your order, never take anything for granted. Be appreciative of their work, say thank you, and you will receive some form of welcome in return.
On that note, I thank you all again. You are all kind, smart, important, beautiful people, and without a community like MCGamer, I would not be here today.
