They will understand the concept of what the poll is, that's pretty much a given, but most of them won't have the MCSG experience (as in having experienced how it was when we had that implemented, or things similar to know what having said thing implemented would mean) to know how they would feel about a suggestion. I know that a few years ago myself, I would not have thought about what I was voting on before I voted.

This thread implies that the better and more experienced MCSG players are on the forums, the noobs not so much, but that's because the noobs are generally people who don't know what the forums are. Also, since the people on the forums are generally more experienced (at least in my opinion) they want mobs and less items to make it harder because it is just too easy (which it is). Noobs on the other hand, aren't even good at the easy version of MCSG and never played MCSG in v1 or even before the hub was added. So obviously they don't want it to be even harder for them because they already kinda stink. And since there are waaaay more people that aren't as good on the servers than people who actually are decent, obviously the polls are a bit unfair. (Thanks Joey and Bajan -_-)
