I suggested something like this a while back, and YESSIREEE this is a fab idea
Our Minecraft servers are offline but we will keep this forum online for any community communication. Site permissions for posting could change at a later date but will remain online.
The reality is that it takes 15 seconds to add and will save people quite a bit of pokes. When you right click to poke someone it brings up their little profile and that's where it shows the flag.
Most mods don't have a problem going on different regions, but if they do then they can always poke someone that they know is from said region.
I poked an AU mod for a ca incident... He could barely see the chat move.It would be a good idea but it's not of high concern. Moderators are more then capable of joining servers in other regions and sorting out any issues that arise.
AU > ASI join all servers, I'm going to give myself a [Global] tag, I rarely lag much anywhere.
Its really Dave 's decision... Hes like hte TS god or what eversBut if I remember correctly, the topic of using these tags has been discussed before by the mods.
Stuff along the lines of, not wanting to divide and group up the mods was said, amongst other reasons.
Like was said above, many moderators have no problem going on other regions, and this is a good idea, but not really of high concern.
I can see why people might want this though, and I've thought about adding [CA/US] before too.
And like it has been already said, it would make things easier for people on both ends, players and moderators.
