There could be a plugin that checks if there are 4+ people within close proximity of each other. If they are not damaging each other for a period of time, the players will be kicked/banned.

That's how you could enforce it.
They could just run away from each other every so often so the plugin doesn't affect them.

I'm not going to read any posts here other than the original thread post. Why?
Because I think this idea is absolutely retarded.

Was there a limit to the size of teams in the Hunger Games?
No.
Was there ever a limit to the size of teams in MCSG Beta, V1, or V2?
No.
Was it even considered seriously?
Doubt it.

If you think this idea is going to be approved, in my opinion you're not using your brain properly.

As all the other rules. if they break it they will be punished. Users will be able to make a report abuse on the forums with evidence or call a moderator on the hub.
How do you describe "teaming" effectively? There could be complications, also it is fun to play in big teams - everyone does it xD

Teaming will always be allowed. There would be no rule ever made against teams. Think about all the other factors that play into this.

If you can't beat them then learn to.
There gets to be a point where when you have 9 or 10 man teams, it's basically a force-lose situation, and the team needing that many is just obnoxious. (Unless you have some clan situation going on.)

Teaming is cheap, but not ban-worthy. But, to those who say it can't be enforced, it can. Just like any other rule.

I don't like teams, but they're here to stay and MCSG's basically shot down this idea time and time again.

Yes but 9 man teams are rare and are usually a bunch of noobs you can easily pick off besides clans, etc.

9 Noobs VS. 1 Good player, it's a valid point, but unless the other team literally has no idea in God's name as to what they're even doing, you typically won't be able to take out all of them, and if you're lucky, 6 or 7.

And then if you get a set-up where it's 9 good players VS. 1 good player, then you can go ahead and feel robbed of a possible win.

Well that's the game for you, you're not supposed to win every time. And the odds of a tram that large, like I've said, are very slim, and if they are good players in a huge team, you can just easily leave in pre-game.

But sir, how do you know their teaming?
