It is part of the game. The whole idea behind these games is to provide an arena where you do anything to win, not to provide a game with impeccable balancing. Some things here are imbalanced, that's how the game operates.

Besides, it would be incredibly predictable and boring if all you ever fought in were 1v1 matches.

Here's a tip, remeber ulthie (The best phrase for success, and mah nickname) as you fight, also, just try and go any tactic to push them off one by one. Or simply, trap them with you, you all go down! I did that to a team of 5 baccas to win an SG4 game once in gravel trap

You gotta pick them off, thin their numbers. While large teams are overpowered, they can't all have good loot and are therefore manageable

Killing a 4 person team isn't that hard as long as you know the map well, and have the correct gear/ items.

A person in a game was complaining to me before and said teams of 3+ should be banned. Although I know that large teams can be very annoying, they are a part of MCSG and always will be. You just have to learn to get better at the game and learn to cope with larger teams.
As previous people have stated, using a flint and steel and picking them off one by one are the best ways of dealing with these kinds of teams.
