I'm assuming the bump was to get the suggestion recognised again. The issue with the suggestion is, paying by phone/SMS tends to produce a higher percentage of merchant fees that need paying. For example, if someone paid me $10 via PayPal, I'd probably get around $9. If someone paid me $10 via a phone/SMS payment account I had, I'd probably get far less, around $3 or $4. Those are just random numbers, but they show the point I'm trying to make.
