Sudden damage

Hello everyone

I have played more than 1000 games on the MCSG servers and I had never seen such a strange bug.
When I run and fall 1-2 blocks I take 1 heart of damage, even more... I have also seen players who take damage when they are stopped by the anticheat system.
Furthermore, there is also that strange moment whent you land on a ladder and take a lot of damage, even die.

I want to know if there is a cause for that sudden damage, if there is one, or it is just a glitch/bug :-?

Yes, the ladder thing really bugs me. It's a glitch that just appeared recently and is really annoying. I am waiting for MCSG to properly fix that. The anti-cheat (or NCP) doesn't do damage to you. It lags you back sometimes when you try to run and then your opponent is able to hit you. It is also a bit annoying in some cases. But the first problem you stated never happened with me... It might be a temporary bug involving Mojang but I've never encountered it either. You should just wait and see if it might be fixed.

I do hate when I get rubber-banded...especially when I'm running away from someone with better gear :/.
If I'm fighting against someone with better gear and they are not pro, I can usually slowly kill them off in
a chase. Many people usually keep chasing you if you run away from them, even if they have low health.
But then I get rubberbanded and everything is ruined.

Believe me, getting killed by rubberbanding is one of the few times I rage.
