I have been thinking quitting minecraft for the same reason. well not stopping but playing it casual instead of hardcore, just to raise my grades (not that my marks are bad, I am just trying to have an average mark of 8 (out of 10) so I can enter every university, and just to play some other games than just minecraft.
I wish you luck with your grades, social life and the girl (keep in mind that the cost a lot of money, that is the reason I broke up with mine ). I hope you are not quitting teamspeak so we can still talk with you.
