I had a good idea when i was playing with someone.
The idea was that you get to choose a book that you can write in (could be a set amount of letters) and send it to the player.
This is good for when your trying to help whoever you sponsor without having to Skype call them.

In the sponsor menu there would a book. If you select the book you can write a message in it and send it to the player you are sponsoring.

Oh, I see it now. I think the reason they don't want to do that is because people can give out other's locations, items, etc. In addition, it could be used to abuse someone.

It's a nice concept, but could just be used to abuse others. But hey I'd actually be all for it because if somebody does send a hurtful message then just f2 and it would be treated the same as abusing in chat? It would be pretty cool just to be able to message somebody in game from a spectator POV

Then you'd just get "skrub nub cleanup killstealer" and the staff couldn't do anything.
