Split VIP

Have you ever found yourself wondering who a VIP is and want to know why they help out the community, but can't figure out without asking other people because all of the Youtubers, Mapmakers, and Artists that do anything for the server are all bunched up into one category? I believe, and I do believe that many others in the MCSG community do as well, that the three main VIP categories should be split up into their own ranks, like a Youtuber rank, a Builder rank, and a Designer Rank. Often times I'll see a VIP and I'll ask them, "Oh, what's your channel?" And they say that they don't have a Youtube channel and it gets very awkward very quickly. I ask for their channel because I completely forget that Artists and Builders for the server also get this very vague "VIP" rank, which leads me to my next point. I think if there were different ranks for each of them, they would get the same if not more recognition for their help with the community. I know this subject has probably been brought up a lot and especially recently, but I believe that it would be a great change for the community.

Agree 100%... also staffs handing out bans/mutes like its Halloween xD I Got kicked then muted at the exact same time.. for saying #ViaCarterforVIP

Well you received your punishment for not following the staff after you were told to do so.

But of all the 3,000,000 people that have played on this server, roughly a 100 people are VIP. Not that much of a deal.

Well in my defense, this solution would have solved a "little" problem tonight so it definitely would be worth their time in my opinion.

But of all the 3,000,000 people that have played on this server, roughly a 100 people are VIP. Not that much of a deal.

This isn't a forum post to discuss people's punishments in the past few hours. Just simply an idea that could be implemented. Don't start anything that does not need to be started.

I think this is a great idea. I also don't think that builders should get VIP for helping out with building a map. There's way too many VIPs in my opinion and I bet half of them are builders. They should get a Mapmaker or Builder rank depending on what position they had in the mapmaking.

And before anyone claims so, no. I am not seeing myself as more important than other map- makers. I would gladly have my VIP rank removed and replaced by a Mapmaker rank.
