Spectating in Survival Games

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to share a quick suggestion i had for the server, I noticed that now when clicking the beacon to join a survival games you can join a game that's marked with a orange block to spectate that game. I think the servers should expand on this feature and show the map that is being played as well, the reason i suggest this is because it would make getting cinematics a lot easier to obtain.
Let me know what you think about this it's just a small change but i feel like it would make the servers a lot better!

Interesting idea. Just one quick question. If you are on Mcsg you are probably going to be playing a game not spectating a random game. I'm just not sure whether it is worth the time and effort by the devs to implement this.

That sounds like a very interesting idea. Like KILLERTITANS25 stated, I'm not sure that many people would put this to use, but for those that you suggested, trying to get cinematics, it would be quite helpful. I'm not sure how much work it would be for the Devs, but they are all very talented people, so I doubt it would be much of a challenge for them. Before it became a thing, however, it would most likely need to see more uses other than just for the cinematics you highlighted. I guess, if anything, it could be beneficial to those wanting to learn maps.

Just on your last point. If people wanted to learn the maps they could download them and get routes with tier 2s.

You're correct, however I could see members going on to see what specific users use as their route and gain new ideas.

That sounds like a good idea. Join games just as it starts and follow donators. Not stereotyping donors but most of them have very good routes. Just a quick tip. If you die off spawn follow someone for a couple of minutes to see there route. This helped me greatly.

Even though I have to agree that this feature wouldn't add much for regular Players, it shouldn't be to hard to actually implent into the game, so it would be a neat little feature to have.

The reason i would want to spectate a game is for the reason of getting cinematics personally. Like others stated on the post it may also have a few alternate purposes. I however feel that a fairly large percentage of players who play mcsg also record it, so for that percentage i feel this feature could really be beneficial for them.

Ya thats how i felt it seems like it would be easy to add but i cant say that with any confidence because i dont know anything about running a server lol.
