Ok the unseen problem with a spleef arena is that you have to break glass and if you break glass players can break the glass dome that surrounds them in domes. UNLESS the spleef arena was made out of grass.

You should can choose between spectating and something else, PvP Arena, Spleef Arena, Jumping Puzzle, Archery Training. Just to skip the time faster. (Sorry for bad english)
Servers are already crashing because of all of the traffice. This would only make it worse.

I think when you die, you should either be teleported to the training room with devices that "actually work" so you can practice for the next round. Or, you should spawn in the capitol because I saw some buildings in the distance so there must be some town there. Though, there shouldn't be any windows in the training room because it's UNDERGROUND (if you've ever read the books.

Spleef arenas dont need to be made of glass. Clay is a good building block
