Sleep Paralysis - Scared Or Not?

My dad's side of the family has sleeping problems, so it obviously had to pass down into me. I've had sleep paralysis before and lucid dreams. Lucid dreams are very cool when you know what you're doing. If you're not careful though, simply thinking a bad thought, and it will happen. It's very weird, but it happens.

Sleep paralysis is also very scary and usually ends with yourself soaked in sweat. Imagine being paralyzed in real life, but a crazed serial killer put into a locked, and dark room with you.
