I realize the map is new, but the architecture looks a bit bland. Here are some tips;
  • For the fence area surrounding the Cornucopia and the blue and yellow building, I would add more exterior detail. Try using a wider variety of blocks, and using blocks like stairs and slabs to add a more realistic effect.
  • Also, your pedestals are a bit sketchy. Try making them into a perfect circle and allow them to match the environment. In your situation, you pedestals are randomly placed giving some users an advantage as they are closer to the chests, and you have pedestals splat in the middle of your roads. It takes a bit more experience and skill to do this, but I would try making it so your pedestals don't overlap the roads. In my WIP map, I have four paths leaving the center, and the 24 pedestals give space so the paths aren't covered.
  • Your map is very flat! You may be plotting to terraform after you build your map, but that's not a good idea. You want to terraform before building. When you build, think about real life. You don't just build a city on a flat land, and then build mountains and lakes.
  • Always think symmetrical. This doesn't relate to all situations, but you want to make a lot of your builds symmetrical. Don't make buildings or stuff like that symmetrical, but make stuff like fences, doors, windows, etc. symmetrical. It will look a whole lot better!
Other then that, keep up the good work. Your pedestals look fantastic asides from their placement, and the fountain with shaders looks great! PM me if you want any more tips. I'm open to help you out!
