Server EST

Myself, like many others, spend out day's checking the server and forums to see if the Survival has opened.

Now I understand real life issues can get in the way. I have a few myself. But it has taken 1.5 months to restart everything. Not cool

No, I don't know the story, but the last bit of info we heard was a week ago.

So can we get an EST?

I think they are waiting for a stable craftbukkit for 1.7 and just update it to that.

Well its always been something, life issues abla blah. I stopped checking and stopped caring because i know the server will just be restarting and won't be up in a while just like creative, it is things like this that make you question the professionalism of a server.

This is a hunger games server primarily. That's what gets the attention and the constant updates and fixes; that's how it should be. You have to face the fact that survival and gamemodes like it are just extra features added for players enjoyment. Respect that and be happy when it does come up, don't complain until it does.

I have every right to complain and speak my opinion, and i will because i understand it is a HG server, but it should not take months to fix other features especially when you expand and make a hub. They have the Survival, Creative, MCTF2, and Zed chase, people expect those features to be there, and when they are not they are disappointed and carries that same feeling for the server and they move on to the server that has those ready and functional. People expect fast service; imagine you went to get your computer fixed and it took them a month because they were not solely working on your computer, but 2 other ones as well. You understand the need for those other computers to be fixed, but you want yours fixed as well with haste. And, the fact that there has been no feedback/information from the admins is really frustrating.

You certainly do, and so do I. That is what this conversation is about.

People expect fast service; imagine you went to get your computer fixed and it took them a month because they were not solely working on your computer, but 2 other ones as well. You understand the need for those other computers to be fixed, but you want yours fixed as well with haste. And, the fact that there has been no feedback/information from the admins is really frustrating.

Using your own example to prove my point, when a company fixes a computer, sometimes it can really take a month, and they most likely will be working on multiple. Also if you think about it, would you want them 1 week in to hand you a computer that will just break again in a month and cause even more disappointment and frustration, or would you rather wait the month to have a completely fixed computer? Furthermore, this is reality. If there are 3 people as you said whos computers are all being worked on, they won't be worked on equally. Most likely the person who paid the most will get the fastest service. This situation is kind of like that; MCSG brings in more revenue and is more popular than all of the other gamemodes combined(I believe), and so obviously it will be worked on first.
