Screen Recording Software?

So I play with lots of hackers each day, I would love to take down all of these hackers. But I need a permanent screen recording device so I can capture them, does anyone have any suggestions on a FREE one, I don't have lots of money to be spending on stuff like this, especially if its just for a game.

And I do have lots of footage of hackers hacking. But whenever I try to upload them to youtube, I get a Server error and it doesn't upload. So i don't know what to do with these .avi files.

I use bandicam, but when uploading I always get an error, but after a while it does upload it. Video format = .avi
