Always run ban at them, it confuses them. In all seriousness, when you run away make sure to run in patterns only if they are trying to bow you, try to juke them (try to turn the other way without getting hit, going behind objects helps), and always, always, always double tap your space bar while running underneath 2 block high surfaces.

The best way to run away is to make them run first. If you run first, they will think you are lower than them. If you need to run first, let them be somewhat close to you in a semi-enclosed area, and flint and steel if possible. If you cannot do either, try your best to guide them into someone else. But they might either PvP, or join chasing you.

In the situation you were in, you were pratciallu dead, unless you jumped the water and i see you've got 400+ sgc wins, so you're used to SG1 and SG2'so just get used to the regulat mcsg maps
