I dont know why people keep bringing up treacherous heights since the theme of this map is completely different.. we wanted a variety of different buildings for the different areas of the town, the buildings at 1:09 have a really nice layout and interior. Buildings don't have to be overly complicated to be a good build, and remember this is the prequel map to our new map we are using in the tournament, so don't be too critical.A step up from treacherous heights, not sure about the buildings at 1:09 though look a tad bland as far as wall design goes in comparison to other buildings on the map.
Thanks for being very observant and critical, we need that in order to improve and I must say I admire that. This makes sense, I'll trust you until you post more screenshots. However, please do look again at the buildings in the third-to-last pic (I know you guys have high standards for your maps and those two houses aren't very high quality in my opinion).

First off, thank you for replying to my criticism head-on. I'm really impressed how all of you have responded to my negativity. Thanks for being very observant and critical, we need that in order to improve and I must say I admire that.
Now, as the one that made those buildings in the third-to-last picture I must comment.
Yes, you want buildings to look good, but remember, they must resemble something. That something can not always look good. I know you're a builder and you'll understand this -- it's hard to recreate something that isn't the best looking, to look good. The assignment for those types of buildings was a 1930s to 1940s american house style. If you look those up, they aren't the most appealing. My are buildings high quality in the regard they're based off of pictures and I feel I did a good job recreating them. As for them being good-looking? Well, let's just compare it to Nine's Amazing Church.
Nah, you don't have to apologize :3 Your points were valid with the information you hadFirst off, thank you for replying to my criticism head-on. I'm really impressed how all of you have responded to my negativity.
After looking up 1930's houses, I must say that it was a, uh, lowpoint in American architecture. With this in mind, I completely understand why the buildings came out like they did. I apologize for critiquing your work when I didn't know the prompt you had to deal with. I think I'm done bashing on you guys now
Thanks! I probably would've said the same, as I only learned about this low-point through building these.First off, thank you for replying to my criticism head-on. I'm really impressed how all of you have responded to my negativity.
