I too agree with this. Think before you speak. Not everyone on here is as old as you. I have an 8 year old brother that plays on these servers and it is absurd when I see people cussing in the chat or making fun of other players on here. This is supposed to be a fun and friendly community. Not a hate filled society where no one shows any respect for each other. MCSG does NOT condone offensive language and bullying on these servers.

Exactly! My 7 year old brother plays on these servers and it really gets to me when I see profanity in the chat. I don't need him going around cursing at everyone he sees.

THIS is why I got a forum account (to report a stash of profanity) and it's also why I applied for moderator. It bothers me that I normally can't let my siblings watch me play (at least in the lobby where people are talking) because of profanity.

I must be chill or used to it, cause I honestly don't care at all to cursing or profanity in chat.

Yeah it's against the rules, but when somebody else does it, I look at it and think of it as completely normal. Even when I do have younger people in the room, I still don't care. Maybe I've seen so much disgusting stuff on the internet, MCSG stuff doesn't even affect me.

But some people aren't so chill with the profanity.
Just think of a young kid who saw some profanity on these servers tell his mom that he found that "no-no" word from here.

This thread has made my day! My 8 year old sister and I always play on these servers but I make sure to have her chat opacity down. This is one of the main reasons I am going for mod. Really don't like the disrespect against the severs.
