Are you familiar with VoxelSniper or WorldEdit?: When it comes to terraforming, I know just about every basic/advanced terraforming command there is. On the other hand, I only know the basics of VoxelSniper, and have yet to learn everything in it, due to not having much experience with the plug-in itself. Learning the commands won't be hard if given the chance, though.
