3.More chests,why are people who already know where it has chests with good things

They don't know where the good stuff is.
All chests are randomized, they only know the locations of multiple chests.

1. What is your favorite map and why (in terms of gameplay)?
i think that survival games 2 is my favorite gameplay map :) its so good build but the lobyes in the towers can be better build i think.

2. What is your best tactic when you play (on both of the maps)?
when i play on a hunger games server i usualy run and gets all the hiden chest befor evry1 else


3. Is there something you would like to be changed in the vanilla version of SG (on the map itself , not these servers)?
well i says that about the lobyes in question 1 but i alsoe think that you guys coud make a bigger downtown its pretty small in sg 2 and some more underground tunnels so you can go from 1 tower to another

4. Is there something you would like to be added to SG, and why?
and i think I have sayd that in the previuse questions


btw a gr8 work with sg i had a server that had sg2 as the main world then i got griefed becus i forgot world guard hehe :)

I think a combination of both maps would be good. I found that the first map was too empty and hard to navigate (so I usually found myself going to the islands), but the second map was too busy. If you could balance the amount of buildings and landmarks with the open space, I think it'd be much better

1. I like more the second map because is really cool to have a lot of places to hide and is also really cool that there are a lot of chest but is really hard to find then and also is good because is huge.

2. My best tactic is to find a lot of chest on the day and when becomes night put your armor on, take your sword and
go find some tributes for killing them.

3. Yes I would like that the map had more traps and redstone mechanisms.

4. Is there something you would like to be added to SG, and why?
4. Yes I would like to have more interactive traps like TNT cannons and also some traps like dispensers fore shooting other tributes things like that.

1. Map 2, because it has more stuff and is easier to get around, unlike having to swim for ten minutes on map 1.

2. Have a route of chest.

3. The giant ocean is super annoying.

4. More puzzles with bigger rewards.

Personally, I love the Wilderness map significantly more than the Abandoned City. To be honest, they're both amazing in their own ways. The Abandoned City I love because it looks amazing! It just makes me scared to wander around it. However its downfall is that it is rather large... For example someone could hide atop any of the skyscrapers, put something down on the shift button and wait for the final deathmatch. But that's not always fun, because I know I've reached the cornucopia on it, gotten full iron and a diamond sword, and I just wanted to hunt people down! However there were 4 people left and they were all hiding. My biggest fear was that if they saw me with that gear they'd mark me as a priority and all mob me. Then there is also the fact that whoever reaches and camps that second spawn cornucopia pretty much wins the game as the gear is epic. Anyway, the Wilderness map is awesome because it feels more like the Hunger Games. The gear is more scarce, and the winners are sometimes people with just leather armor and stone swords! That seems more survival-ish to me. Plus, I feel like when I play it I have to decide where I'm going to go, where I'm going to stay during nightfall, and where people will most likely be to find/avoid them.

2. What is your best tactic when you play (on both of the maps)?
I first pick one of my routes (I have a specific chest route on the maps) and get ready. The second the game starts I run to the chests, and if I find a weapon I will generally look around, and kill the people with good gear. This way I stockpile good gear at the beginning of the game and eliminate some of the other competitors. I then rush to my route, hitting 5-10 chests along the way, and then return to the cornucopia. I there hollow out a tree, and hide until nightfall. I quickly rush to the chests, grab everything I can, craft whatever I can (usually and iron sword or better tier of armor), then, if its Wilderness, I head to the boat and get everything I can from there. Then I just stay close to the cornucopia and kill anyone that comes by. If its Abandoned City, I run in circles on the outer edge of the tree line looking for people, and kill them accordingly.

I think that Wilderness is great, however there is a scarcity of chests, and that sometimes many players, even when they're alive and away from other tributes, feel as though they are just going to lose because after their first run all the chests were emptied and they had no armor or weapons. Then for Abandoned City, I would take out the forest part, because frankly it's too big. The whole city in ruin feel is very fun to play in, but not when you can't find anyone to fight.

4. Is there something you would like to be added to SG, and why?
I would love for these to occur, but they're mainly little things that help make it more like the book. It would be really cool if when you're on the platforms at the beginning, you don't get teleported back if you try and move but you either blow up or just die, to make it more of a consequence. Of course spinning around and jumping would be fine, but if you left the block you would die. I also think that there should be events, that entice players to go to certain parts of the map at random intervals, at major landmarks. For instance in SG1, a message would go out saying that there is a chest with your number labeled on it, that has good gear for you! It's waiting at the boat! Now the boat could be filtered out with the bridge, cornucopia, tower, and tons of other landmarks players might know. This would increase the competition, and increase the PvP, because instead of camping a specific set of chests and fishing, you would need to go to these chests in order get an edge on the other players. Plus it would be a spot where you could definitely find players.

Anyway, those are my thoughts but over all I think you have done an amazing job with everything! I love the server, maps, and the game itself! Thank you for creating a wonderful Minecraft experience!

Well I love all the maps,but #2 is my favorite because in #1 it takes way to long to swim across the oceans, and the only thing is that i have seen is that people that memorized the map know where everything is on it, but i don't think you can do much about that. Plus the long ocean,but i just mentioned that so, yeah.

I have a few suggestions. First would be to if you can, add creative or the ability to type in the comand for items so that the sponsor could play how Varide amd Inthelittlewood played on the streams with the spawning of things on the tributes heads. Second wou;d be the redstone, on some servers i have played on the redstone is bugged out, but most of the time it works right.

Thanks for making such great servers and maps! Keep 'em coming plz :)

Oh, i forgot a point.

Less spots where players can get stuck. (1,5+ deeps holes etc.)

hey varide! i am both a huge fan of ur channel and the survival games, so first off i would just like to thank you for all the effort you have put into making theses awesome maps.
now on to the qweshtions

1.both of the maps that are currently out are both epic, i prefer the first one for gameplay, because of the wilderness setting, but i highly prefer the city scape map in cases for combat, because there are so many cool buildings to explore.

2. the most reliable tactic for me when i am playing the survival games is by first off looting one chest in the center, with the hope for a weapon, or some armor, then after that i ushily run on a certain route that i have come up with, by doing that i ushily loot 15-19 chests, then just before nightfall i got to the closed known crafting bench and make any swords, armor, or arrows that i might need. by that time the chests have refilled and ill go the the center and take those, and finally repeat the route.

3.the one thing that i would like to see changed is there being a larger amount of crafting tables spreed though out the map, often i will find myself with the materials to make weapons and such but no way of crafting them, also more enchanting tables would be epic. other than that, the maps are great!

4.ther is nothing i can think of that should be added to the maps right now, there already great!
